ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside, or simply AAside (read as Double A Side), was a mobile rhythm and adventure game for the boy band project from the multimedia franchise BanG Dream!.
It was released on January 14, 2021.
On November 22nd, 2021, the official AASide Twitter account announced that they will shut down the server on January 31st, 2022, 14:59 JST. Then on the announced day, the server was officially shut down.
Introduction[]
The Live Royal Fest is the event that holds the key to world of the rhythm game ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside.
It is a time where bands that burst out of Japan are holding activities overseas, and shining brightly like stars there.
To search for the stars of the next generation, there is a festival that serves as the summit for amateur bands. It holds the fastest ticket to the world beyond - it is named "Live Royal Fest" (ライブ・ロワイヤル・フェス).
Set in the city of Tokyo, five bands have been chosen from across the country to participate in this festival.
Spurred ahead by the winds of fate, Hakodate's university band "Argonavis".
Holding down their destiny, the absolute kings standing out in Tokyo "GYROAXIA".
Decked out in full bloom in their double identities, Nagoya's working adult V-kei band "Fantôme Iris".
Centered around their childhood friendship, the energetic ska band from Nagasaki "Fujin RIZING!"
A group of middle-high schoolers who have proved their talent, Kyoto's techno-pop band "εpsilonΦ".
Only the victorious band that reaches the summit of the festival will be given "reputation", "money", and "support to head overseas".
No band that has fallen out of the festival has ever been able to re-contest in the Live Royal Fest. For the sake of winning this once-in-a-lifetime chance, these bands are clashing on this stage of wild enthusiasm.[1]

In the adventure part of the game, players will be able to read an original story that takes place after the events of the anime. The "LIVE ROYALE FESTIVAL" is held to determine the best amateur band with contestants from all over the country.[2]
