ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! is the TV anime for the project of the same name. It started on April 11, 2020. It broadcasted every Saturdays at 01:25 am (or Fridays at 25:25) at MBS and TBS-affiliated channels. It was directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori and written by Nobuhiro Mori. It will be animated by Sanzigen.
A special mini-show, "ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! Before Anime Special" was broadcast for four consecutive weeks from February 8-29, 2020 where the members of the band Argonavis have appeared.[1]
Story[]
The story is the prequel to the game's story.
Ren Nanahoshi is a lonely college student who isn't good at communicating with others. He remembers the thrill of watching a live band perform when he was young, and spent most of his days searching for his own identity. One day, while singing karaoke alone, two boys named Yuto and Wataru discover Ren's singing ability. The two agree: "This is fate. Let's start a band!" Ren promptly runs away, but fate indeed steps in, and their journey begins.[2]
