From ARGONAVIS is an all-male multimedia project by Bushiroad and is part of the BanG Dream! franchise. It was first announced on May 12, 2018. It was previously named as "ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream!" before the brand renewal announcement on November 23, 2021.
Just like BanG Dream!, ARGONAVIS develops various media mixes such as anime, game, and live performances.
While part of the Bang Dream! franchise, the characters from the Girls Band Party! will not interact with the characters from this project as stated by Bushiroad's President, Takaaki Kidani.
One notable difference between the two projects is that the majority of the characters in ARGONAVIS are in college with the exception of ΕpsilonΦ which is composed of one middle school student and four high school students, while the Girls Band Party! project has all of its characters in high school.
The two projects also differ in their area setting. Original BanG Dream! is set in Shinjuku, Tokyo while ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! is set in Hakodate, Hokkaido.
The official name for ARGONAVIS fans are Navigators or Navi for short. It was announced during the BanG Dream! Argonavis 2nd LIVE.
The project's slogan is "We still have a song."' (俺たちにはまだ、歌があった。)
History[]
The project was first announced on May 12, 2018, shortly before the BanG Dream! 7th LIVE.
The first band to be introduced was Argonavis. Their first live in their series of 0-LIVE was held on July 29, 2018. However, their first official live as part of the BanG Dream! franchise was held on May 17, 2019, a year later after the project announcement.
The project's first single, Goal Line by the band Argonavis, was released on February 20, 2019.
On November 5, 2019, an anime and a rhythm mobile game adaptations were announced. The anime is scheduled to start airing on April 10, 2020 while the game is scheduled to be released on the second half of 2020.

The anime, titled ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! ANIMATION, was announced on November 5, 2019. It premiered on April 10, 2020. It was animated by Sanzigen, which have animated the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the BanG Dream anime.

A manga was set to start serializing at the latter half of 2019. The story is written by Kou Nakamura, character design by Hikaru Miyoshi, script by Mori Nobuhiro, and art by Kyohei Miyajima. A preview of the manga was handed during the 1.5th LIVE.[1]

Puchigonavis (ぷちゴナビス) is a 4-panel comics. It started serialization through the December 2019 issue of Monthly Bushiroad, released last November 8, 2019. It was written by Karasuma Kojiro and character designed by Hikaru Miyoshi.

Argonavis Radio Line (Argonavis ラジオライン) is a web radio which has started broadcasting through HiBiKi Radio Station last June 11, 2019. However, it held a pre-show broadcast on May 2, 2019. It is hosted by Hyuga Daisuke and Maeda Seiji. It used to air every 2nd and fourth Tuesdays of the month but changed to a weekly broadcast starting from March 3, 2020.
ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside Radio ROYAL FES[]
ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside Radio ROYAL FES (アルゴナビス from BanG Dream! AAside ラジオ・ロワイヤル・フェス) is the web radio for the mobile game ARGONAVIS from BanG Dream! AAside. It will start broadcasting through HiBiKi Radio Station on April 3, 2020 though it held a pre-delivery on March 13, 2020. It airs every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month. The host band changes every month from any of the active bands of AASide.
